Who Has FAT?
One of the stumbling blocks we run into every time there is a proposal to auto-time regional meets is that no one knows how many fully-automatic timing systems we have in Michigan. Often the assumption is that we don't have enough. However, with 40 regionals in the Lower Peninsula, and 84 FAT systems, it is clear that the time has come. We can even maximize efficiency by increasing the number of sites that run two regionals (Fri/Sat).
